A completed acrylic painting of your pet on canvas. Each painting is done from a photo, using colors of your choosing, and produced in a bright, colorful fluid style. Each painting is sealed with a gloss varnish, giving the finished product a beautiful shine. Paintings are ready to hang & painted to edge.
Turnaround time for a completed painting is pretty quick, usually between 2-5 weeks. If you order a larger painting, sometimes this can take longer. During the holiday season, this can take longer as well. Rush paintings are available; contact me to discuss.

Paintings range greatly in price, depending on size and the number of animals in the painting. I price pieces on an individual basis, so if you’re interested, use the Painting Request ordering form to get a specific estimate.

I will need (at least) one photograph of your pet to paint from. The painting will be based off of this image, so the higher resolution/larger the better. However, sending more than one photo definitely helps in the process, allowing me to get a better idea of your pet’s unique features and their personality. Really, the more pictures the better!
If you’ve gotten to the Painting Request form, you may have noticed I ask for the name of your pet. Why? Well, as silly as it sounds, it really helps to know during the painting process! I put my heart in to each painting I do. Knowing more info about your fur-baby helps me get an idea of their personality, likes and dislikes, and why you love them. Knowing more about you helps too, so don’t hesitate to include!
Sure! Maybe you think your pup looks absolutely adorable in some goggles. I can do that. Or is there a favorite toy you might like to see included? If you’d like to think about adding a prop into the mix, be sure to let me know when you submit the estimate form.
There are two options for payment: You can pay in full up front, or you can pay half of the final price up front and the other half upon completion of the painting. I accept PayPal or money orders. Tax & Priority Shipping included in pricing.
When your painting is completed, I will send you a digital image of the painting for final approval and any minor finishing tweaks you may have in mind. When you are absolutely happy & satisfied, I finish the painting with a gloss varnish. This helps protect the painting and gives it a bright, shining finish. (Matte finish available by request.) Once payment is received in full, the painting will be shipped to you & ready to hang 🙂 Or, if you live in the Kansas City area, I’m happy to meet up and deliver the painting to you. For local KC residents, this method is definitely preferred.
Yes I do. I experiment with landscapes, and all other animals. Drop me a line if you have a different type of painting in mind.

I do! I donate at least 10% of each painting’s proceeds to a dog rescue or charity, namely locally in the Kansas City area. A few organizations I like to donate to include KC Pet Project, Great Plains SPCA, Hounds Haven Basset Rescue, Basset and Beagle Rescue of the Heartland, and others.

Aside from monetary donations, I also offer a variety of design and web development services for various animal rescue, non-organizations free of charge. A few of these include a full website for PetEx Rescue ‘N Transport, a logo design for Red Hook Dog Rescue, and currently, I’m working on a full website for Hounds Haven Basset Rescue.
